Fidelity International lists its first European ETFs on the ISE
Fidelity International has launched its first European exchange traded funds (ETFs) with the Main Securities Market (MSM) of the Irish Stock Exchange (ISE) chosen as the primary listing venue.
The two income-focused smart beta ETFs - Fidelity Global Quality Income UCITS ETF and Fidelity US Quality Income UCITS ETF - track Fidelity-branded indices and provide exposure to high quality companies that aim to pay attractive dividends that deliver a yield in excess of the broader market* whilst, at the same time, carefully managing risk.
Nick King, Head of ETFs at Fidelity International, commented: “Fidelity International is focused on providing world-class investment solutions. Demand for Smart Beta strategies has been growing in recent years and is expected to continue to accelerate as investors look for competitively priced, differentiated products which provide a particular investment outcome."
The leading exchange for listing European ETFs
Gerry Sugrue, Vice President at the ISE said: “We are delighted to welcome Fidelity to the growing number of ETF providers choosing the ISE as primary listing venue for their European ETFs. Ireland is now home to over 56% of European ETF assets. This leading position results from offering unrivalled expertise in the range of services necessary for a successful market offering including listing, administration, custody, legal and tax as well as a robust regulatory framework.”
